I too had a Blackberry bold. It was awesome. (This was back in college when blackberry was all the rage, and iphone was just emerging.)

Now for those who dont know, the Bold 9000 was the biggest Blackberry there was. Best keyboard, best screen, etc.

And it was very customizable, for instance I blacked mine out and added a carbon fiber back plate.

The necks I would break whenever I wipped it out...never mind the blinding rate of sexting that was possible on that thing. SLAY, SLAY, SLAY!

I lost it to some NYC slush in 2010...

Man I miss that phone. (still have it too, it serves as a reminder of a great time in Blackberrys history, and mine!)

Since I’ve survived on hand-me-downs from my parents, every time one gets a new iphone, I get their old one. I like it that way, cant get disappointed with a choice I didn’t make.

I remember an ex of mine getting a Bold. I could not understand why anyone would get anything that wasn’t an iPhone, then I used it. I then routinely requested it whoever we were together and I needed to send an email. It’s probably tied with the iPhone 4 for the best feeling and looking phone I’ve ever used. I miss it more than my ex.

ETA: you crazy, the leather back was the best thing ever.

I had one of these once. Nokia E73 Mode. Beast of a phone. 4 day battery life with fairly constant use, ran Symbian, fantastic keyboard, stupid-good camera for the day, and sexy as all hell. I really wish there was something like it with a more modern OS and similar battery life...

Hell. something the size and shape of the original iPhone with a higher res display would be dope as hell but nooooo... huge ass fucking slabs of glass with hardly any battery life because THINNER IS BETTER AND EASIER TO BEND AND BREAK :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I love my Blackberrys. I’ve a Torch 9810 and a Classic Q20.

I don’t like the whole touch screen stuff, sure it can be helpful but I like buttons.

I do like how the Classic works.

Blackberry are going the Android route which I suppose will help keep Blackberry in the business of making phones and not filing for bankruptcy.

I had a blackberry as my work phone. The gave me a flip phone, so I bought this off of eBay, then put the SIM card in it. Everyone would walk into the data van and see it on my desk and go “holy shit is that a blackberry!?!? I havent seen one in forever”

Oh, I get that. I just don’t understand why they couldn’t offer BB10 as an optional OS. I mean, they’ve put the money into developing it, it supports Android apps... Couldn’t it run on the same hardware?

Lol. I don’t do Facetime anyway. I have a face nobody, even me, wants to look at. Thankfully I don’t have to look at my face.

I’m fine with calls, text, I.M., and all the other methods of communication. If I wanted to talk face to face I would meet them for a coffee.
